Imagine a piece of art that you have never seen before; it’s a one of a kind, one you won’t find anywhere else. When you experience the amazement of going into Infinity Lights, an art piece at the Milwaukee Art Museum by Stanley Landsman, you will be an awe of the art piece: Not only from how advance it is but also by what Landsman was trying to say.
Taking that first step into the piece Infinity Lights, you feel as if you’re in outer space, maybe even in a different galaxy. Perhaps when you look closer around you, you will see lights filled with brightness, and notice that they form up in a million rows, that eventually come to an end. And after that, the thought strikes you, what was the artist trying to say in this fascinating piece? A mind boggling question it is, there are answers. In my view of this piece, I believe what the artist was trying to say was that life only comes once, which most of us know. And that it is filled with millions of little moments that make up your life. In this case those memories in your life are all those tiny light bulbs in the piece of work. When their rows come to an end , and there are no more lights except the plain color black that fills up the space, that unfortunately is where life ends.
So maybe next you’re sitting around doing nothing like a lazy couch potato, just remember Infinity Lights by Stanley Landsman, and remember what he was trying to say. Maybe Stanley Landsman looked around in life and saw people holding back from enjoying their life. Maybe while noticing that, he also noticed that they weren’t filling it with great memories to leave life with. Maybe Stanley Landsman made this piece for people like you who don’t realize what life is, a thing that you can fill with great memories that only comes once.

I really liked how in your conclusion you started almost every sentance with maybe. Normally I wouldn't think this would work but it really makes your conclusion sound nice.
ReplyDeleteI agree with Sarah. You did use maybe a lot. Also you didn’t do the artist description. I like how this paper flow. You had a good word variety except for all of the maybe's, and to me it felt like I was really seeing the Infinity Lights. I never did see them, but this paper makes me know more about them.
